The collection includes legislative files and campaign records. Peter H. McEachin is represented by several files, in relation to the 1956 Democratic National Convention and other matters. Topics represented include all aspects of Zeigler's life, from his high school days in Florence, S.C., through the late 1970s; the collection documents his life and interests and is particularly valuable in providing insight into the development of Florence's cultural institutions.
